We became interested in a log constructed home after Diane reviewed and examined the log home models of Allegany Log Homes of Houghton, New York.

Looking into building a log home included inquiries of material quality from area lumber and building experts. We found that the logs and materials from Allegany Log Homes were rated at a high quality compared to any available.

A visit to a competitor's log home models convinced us that Allegany Log Homes construction was of high quality and what we were looking for.

We have been living in our Allegany Log Home since May 2006, and are very happy with our newly constructed log home.
